Preparation Instructions
To prepare the square fish cakes, heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the frozen fish cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Alternatively, you can bake the cakes in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes until thoroughly heated. The fish cakes can also be added directly to Tteokbokki. Cut the cakes into pieces and add them to the Tteokbokki in the last few minutes of cooking, allowing them to absorb the sauce and heat through completely. Serve the fish cakes hot as part of the Tteokbokki dish.
