§ 1 Organizer

The organizer of the sweepstakes is:

This sweepstakes is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube and is neither sponsored, supported, nor organized by these platforms.

§ 2 Sweepstakes Period

The sweepstakes begins on December 9, 2025 at 00:01 AM (CET)
and ends on December 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM (CET).

All paid orders received by 4:30 PM are eligible to participate.

The winner announcement will take place live on TikTok on December 22, 2025 between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM (CET).

§ 3 Eligibility to Participate

All natural persons who are:

  • at least 18 years old and

  • reside in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, or the Netherlands are eligible to participate.

Employees of MAOMAO, their relatives, and all persons involved in the implementation of the sweepstakes are excluded from participation.

§ 4 Prizes

A total of 6 prizes will be awarded:

  1. 1st Prize: Apple iPhone 17 (basic model, color subject to availability, without contract)

  2. 2nd Prize: Apple AirPods

  3. 3rd Prize: Apple AirPods

  4. 4th Prize: 1× MAOMAO Christmas Set

  5. 5th Prize: 1× MAOMAO Christmas Set

  6. 6th Prize: 1× MAOMAO Christmas Set

Cash payment, transfer, or exchange of prizes is excluded.

§ 5 Conditions of Participation

A) Participation by Purchase (Tickets per €20 – Mandatory Comment)

Every fully paid order that:

  • is placed in the MAOMAO Online Shop (mao-mao.de) or

  • in the MAOMAO TikTok Shop
    (Account: maomaosupermarket, Shop Name: "MAOMAO Asia Markt")

  • is received by December 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM (CET) at the latest,

can participate in the sweepstakes, provided that the following mandatory action is also fulfilled:

The participant must post a comment under the official sweepstakes video of this promotion, containing the following:

  • the order value (€) and

  • the order number

The comment can be made on one of the following platforms:

  • TikTok: @maomaosupermarket

  • Instagram: @maomaofoods

  • YouTube: @maomaofoods

Example:
"€62.90 – Order number 113728"

Without this comment, participation via purchase is not valid.

The comment serves for unambiguous assignment and calculation of the number of tickets.

🟡 Tickets per order value:

For every €20 of order value, the order receives one (1) ticket.

Examples:

  • €20 → 1 ticket

  • €40 → 2 tickets

  • €60 → 3 tickets

Cancelled, revoked, or unpaid orders do not participate.

B) Free Participation (Postcard)

Participation without purchase is possible by sending a stamped postcard with the following information:

  • First and Last Name

  • Full Address

  • Email Address

  • Keyword: "iPhone 17 Christmas Sweepstakes"

The following applies:

  • maximum one postcard per person,

  • the submission must be received within the participation period (§ 2),

  • each postcard corresponds to one (1) ticket,

  • no comment on social media required.

§ 6 Winner Drawing, Announcement and Notification

The winners will be:

  1. drawn live on TikTok on December 22, 2025 between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM,

  2. then officially announced in a video on TikTok and Instagram,

  3. and additionally informed by email by December 25, 2025 at the latest.

Multiple wins possible:
Each prize will be drawn separately.
Each participant receives one ticket per €20 order value (e.g., €20 = 1 ticket, €100 = 5 tickets).

If a ticket is drawn, that ticket wins the corresponding prize.
All other tickets of that participant remain in the draw and participate in subsequent draws.

This gives each participant the chance to win multiple prizes.

Publication of Winners

By participating, participants agree that the following data may be published:

  • First name + initial of last name (e.g., "Lisa K.")

  • Order number in abbreviated form (e.g., "#11***8")

Full name will only be published with explicit consent.

Winner Obligation

Winners must, within 7 days of email notification:

  • accept the prize and

  • submit a valid shipping address.

If no response is received, the prize will be redrawn.

Shipping & Liability

Shipping is free of charge.

MAOMAO is not liable for loss or damage after handover to the shipping service provider, unless MAOMAO is responsible for the damage.

§ 7 Data Protection

Responsible for data processing: MAOMAO Technologies GmbH.

Processed data includes:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Order number

  • Social media comment (public username)

Purpose: Execution of the sweepstakes, allocation of tickets, winner determination, shipping.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR

Data will be deleted after the sweepstakes has ended and statutory retention periods have expired.

§ 8 Final Provisions

Legal recourse is excluded.

MAOMAO reserves the right to adjust or cancel the sweepstakes at any time for important reasons (e.g., manipulation, technical problems).
Participants will be informed of significant changes as far as possible.

Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
