The Korean rice wine Makgulli is a rice wine with light, fresh bubbles. It has a milky-white appearance, a sweet and sour taste profile, and aromas of rice. Other names include Makkolli, Makgeolli, Makgoli, Mak Coli, Makkŏlli, Maccori, magic. Uniquely delicious alcoholic beverage.
Storage and usage instructions
Store in a cool and dark place. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within a few days. Shake gently before use, as the rice wine may settle.
Preparation instructions
Before serving, shake the bottle lightly to mix the settled ingredients. Pour the Makgeolli into a glass and serve chilled. The rice wine can be drunk neat or mixed with ice and other ingredients to create cocktails.
