Rezept für Twisted Cucumber Salad
Ingredients
For 1 small bowl
- 3 fresh mini cucumbers
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chili oil
- Optional: 1 teaspoon light miso paste
- 1 tsp sesame
- Salt
step by step
STEP 1
Wash the cucumbers, remove the ends and use 2 disposable chopsticks
STEP 2
Take one cucumber at a time, place it between 2 sticks and make straight cuts at small intervals until it lands on the sticks, repeat the same on the back of the cucumber with diagonal cuts
STEP 3
Salt the cucumbers thoroughly, let them soak for 30 minutes, rinse briefly with cold water and pat dry
STEP 4
In the meantime, peel the garlic, press it and mix it in a bowl with all the other ingredients except the cucumbers. Add the cucumbers and mix carefully
STEP 5
Now let the cucumbers sit in the fridge for at least 2, preferably 5 hours, then season to taste and enjoy
